Websites for Parents and Students

Hello everyone!

I hope you are enjoying my class. I am currently teaching 10th grade Geometry and I have some websites I would like to share. If you are interested in learning more or refreshing your memory with Geometry, these websites would be a great place to check them out. Listed below I have gave a brief summary of what the websites include. Thanks.

This website enables students to look up the definitions and pictures of geometry shapes. Students can select different tabs that include homework help, practice, tutoring, calculator & tools, and games to learn more about geometry. They also can take practice quizzes on this website and learn from the examples given similar in class.

This website includes different shapes of geometry, it allows the students to draw the shapes and match up on what the website displays on shapes. You can download and print shapes and the website will guide you to cutting and making new shapes with the paper you have. Several different activities allow students to create new shapes on their own time.

In this website, you can search for anything related to geometry if you have questions. There are also a list of specific geometry parts that include calculating the area, perimeter, and volume of different shapes. This is a good website to review on specific formulas given in class that day related to area, perimeter, and volume.

A wesbite for students who enjoy web-games and want to play games to learn shapes in geometry. This website offers challenges on creating shapes from a variety of shapes into a shape. The website's goal is to allow the kids to enjoy learning different geometry shapes from games.

This website allows students to take any shapes provided in the block and create it exactly as the picture shows. Students can access different blocks provided on the website to learn more about geometry. One example the block provides is the ability to create different shapes matching the picture provided.
